Executive Vice President, Wirefly Brand Group
As the Executive Vice President of the Wirefly Brand Group, Vic oversees the Internet’s largest independent wireless retailer – Wirefly.com. Under his leadership, the Wirefly Brand Group not only manages a multitude of traditional channels including affiliate, email, SEM, and Social, but they also serve as a test bed for new merchandizing concepts and promotions before they are rolled out across Simplexity’s extensive list of partners. Previously, Vic Hugo served as Vice President of Customer Experience at Simplexity from 2007 – 2010 and subsequently, expanded his role to include product management and Simplexity’s Home Services Group that managed the rollout of products, promotions, and campaigns across the entire company. Prior to joining Simplexity, Vic held several senior management position at InPhonic, Inc (INCP) and spent 12 years at MCI managing a number of product lines for the consumer division including MCI Wireless, where several of today’s standard wireless features were first introduced, and the nation’s first home unlimited local/long distance product: The Neighborhood built by MCI. Vic has a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.B.A. from Georgetown University.
